In order to ensure accuracy and timing of your countertop installation we ask that you follow the steps listed below for a problem free installation:
**The client must be present at the time of measurement to discuss any questions or design related issues. All appliances must be on site. (Sinks, cook tops or ranges, plumbing fixtures).
**The cabinets must be installed and secured in their final position prior to measurement.
**It is advisable to remove the existing counter tops before measurement. If this is not possible, we can still measure your countertops using our laser technology to guarantee a perfect fit for your new countertops. However please note that the existing countertop will need to be removed by you prior to installing the new tops. If you prefer though this can be done by our installers at an additional cost.
**Remove any items on or in your bottom cabinets that may interfere with templating. We require a clean, unobstructed work surface for our digital templating equipment to work and to guarantee accurate measurements.
**All apron or farmer sinks, and cast-iron sinks must be installed in their final position prior to the time of measure.
**If all preparations have not been made and we must return for an additional trip, please be advised that an additional charge will be applied.

Payment:

Once final approval of materials & layout is approved a deposit of 50% of the estimated price must be received at the time of Measurement/Template at your place. The balance can be paid after the countertop has been installed.

Installation:

When the countertop is ready our installer will contact you to set up a convenient date and time for your installation. This should not take more than a couple of hours but could be more depending upon the design of the countertop and the amount of work involved.

What you need to know:

Pre-Installation Check List: In order to help ensure a quick and clean installation of your new counter tops, please complete each of the following prior to the arrival of our installers:
**You must remove your existing countertop & sinks prior to the installation unless you have made prior arrangements for our installers to do it.
**The decision maker must be present during the installation. Please have all appliances, sinks, faucets, cook tops or slide-in stoves on site in order to have your project installed successfully.
**We will mount your new sinks, however please be advised that a minimum of 24 hours is required for the countertop and sink to set prior to reconnecting the plumbing.
**Supply lines for gas stoves are to be disconnected so that we can safely move the stove or cooktop.
**If you are using a cast-iron or over-sized sink, please note that they cannot be mounted directly to the underside of the counter and must be alternatively supported.
**Any garbage disposals must be properly supported by the cabinets, and not suspended from the sink. The weight and vibrations from the motor will risk breaking the bonds used to fix the sink to the underside of the counters.
**Do not place any items on, or use your counter tops for at least 12 hours after the installation has been completed. The adhesive and epoxy need this time to cure sufficiently to ensure your tops and joints remain level and square. Natural stone tops also need this time to allow the sealant applied by our installers to dry properly.
**Please remember that final balances are due upon installation. Please do not hesitate to contact your project manager with any questions or concerns.
